Circo Shower Enclosure

When it comes to designing your home shower, you really do have to think outside of the box to get the exact feel and touch that you are looking for in your home bathroom design. The Circo Shower Enclosure adds a beautiful round enclosure to your shower, and it is made of tempered safety glass that is a quarter inch thick, so it is solid and durable. It features tempered sliding glass doors, which allow you to easily get in and out, and you can install it against a tiled wall for sophisticated design that will fit into nearly any bathroom.

Quad Shower Enclosure

If you are looking for a more roomy shower design option, then look into the Quad Shower Enclosure by Bath Authority, which has a hinged door that is latched magnetically. You can easily install this against the tiled walls of your bathroom, and it will give you such a step up in contemporary bathroom design than using your average shower curtain. One of the greatest features about this shower enclosure is that you can get it in a Right or Left configuration, depending on the design that you are going for. Both of these choices give you great ideas in understanding that you can design your bathroom in such a modern way, starting with the shower enclosure!

Decorate Your Bathroom in Style

Aniela Oval Farm Bath Marble Tub

As you are getting ready to get down to business about decorating your bathroom, how do you know exactly what to look for? Do you go with the traditional tub that came in your home, or do you take it to the next level? If you are looking to add a little bit of creativity to your decor, then I urge you to check out the Jack Oval Farm Bath Marble Tub. It is seriously so amazing in its shape and design for bathroom furniture or bathroom fixtures, and it is actually made from a single block of stone. So when you see the actual shape of the design of this tub, then you will be totally impressed because it is hand carved from solid blocks of pure marble. You can even get it in different color options!

Cecilia Rectangular Farm Bath Granite Tub

My other favorite choice in bathroom furniture design that really stands out to me is the Cecelia Rectangular Farm Bath Granite Tub. It adds a feeling of sophistication, and it is also again made from a single block of stone and hand carved from granite. You can get it in a Baltic Brown, Black Galaxy, Coral Reef, or Mojave Gold. As you can see, bathroom design is truly stepping up!

Light Your Bathroom With Style

Mirella Bath Light

A trip to the bathroom in the middle of the night demands more than just your ordinary nightlight. It is so necessary to have stylish bathroom lighting, like the Mirella Bath Light, which comes in a metallic bronze, polished nickel, or satin nickel. It is horizontally mounted in a long and sleek design, and the lighting is encased in a blown glass tube that is supported with satin nickel. This is something that is so subtle, yet so chic – perfect for any bathroom decor!

And why stop there? To go with that, you need classy ceiling lights and table lamps to make all of your home lighting complementary and complete. I myself am a huge fan of the Ageo 7 LT Modern Table Lamp because of the spiral design that resembles an icy type of fire. A completely unexpected contrast that will catch the eye of any guest in your home! There are seven lights within the mechanisms, and the bulbs are included to give you a delightful crystallized lighting concept like you have never seen before! This is just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak, in chic and relevant lighting designs, which are so worth mentioning because why would you want your bathroom lighting to be anything less than spectacular?

Sinking it in…

Bathroom Vanity

Imagine a bathroom without bathroom sinks and bathroom vanities! It can be compared to walking through a bare room with zero function. Functionality has come to mean so much that imagining a room without its aesthetics and functionality amounts to incomplete imagination (yeah, mere imagination).

Often, I receive mails for remodeling bathrooms. Well, I guess you need not replace every unit of the bathroom to remodel. Sometimes changing faucets sinks and mirrors can also help with the renovations. It is also a great idea to update bathroom vanity cabinets to remodel the space. No matter what your budget is, try to work out a practical plan. In these difficult times, we all have had second thoughts about saving precious buck.

On the list of priority, interestingly bathrooms have been attracting equal attention. Don’t go by the size of the bathroom, bathroom gadgets and things can be an expensive affair to begin with. The segment has so much of variety and bathroom design is nothing less than an art, but it should also fit your individual lifestyle for comfortable everyday use within a realistic budget.

Hem in Shower Luxury…

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Last month saw us all in a fix over rounding on the number of gadgets we wished to upgrade as part of the renovation drive. It got me a bit anxious when we redid the list: Was shower enclosure a luxury we could afford? The old one had cost us a fortune and is just worn out. My anxieties were soon to be taken over with a smile when L did the costing… I was surprised to discover that shower enclosures did not cost as much as I anticipated….

Just to be sure, we have the right thing on list, I searched the web and found out that indeed, the choice we made were great, offering the luxury of a full-fledged jet-power within economical range….just take a look at three of the modern samples for shower-enclosures…

Sector Shower Enclosure by Bath Authority

The Sector Shower Enclosure is designed for installations against tiled walls, the smaller one costing less, of course. The ¼”sliding tempered glass doors are safe and all the visible fixtures are done in chromed finish. The anodized aluminium body is great and the enclosure comes with or without the acrylic tray in three finishes and two sizes..

Crystal Shower Enclosure by Bath Authority

Transforming your shower into a luxurious spa seems like a dream no more… the Crystal Shower Enclosure is equally stunning. The sliding tempered glass doors have been equipped with magnetic latches with reversible option of opening the door from the right/left. Its available in three dimensions and three great finishes….

Neo Shower Enclosure by Bath Authority

If you don’t like the standard frames (L doesn’t either), you must take a look at the Neo Shower Enclosure Hinged door with full-length magnetic door latch. The tempered glass comes in two different widths, while the hinges, door handles and glass support bars are in stainless steel, and the reversible sliding doors open on the left or right….

For Bathroom Dreamers……….

Thursday, September 24th, 2009

Bathroom has been out of posts, not out of focus, for sure. Me, and my fancy for innovative bathroom furniture bring me back to new design innovations. Bathroom vanities are filled with great things, except that we discover our bathrooms getting smaller by the day, and regular vanity sizes, simply outdated. You know the bunch of us I am referring to, people who have apartments, studios and homes with space constraints.

Smeralda Glass Vanity

On trendy bathroom vanity cabinets, if you don’t have the space for a changing room or just room enough for a vanity, would you be deprived of the luxury? Not really. I saw these unusual vanities that I hope would interest you as much as they did me. The Smeralda Glass Vanity is a glass vanity in abstract shape that could easily fit in smaller spaces. The see-through glass sink (complete with faucet and p-trap) is a unique shape that blends with the mirror shape. There are oak painted shelves, and attached lighting that comes with the mirror.

Sesto Ceramic Vanity

Another model for smaller spaces—the Sesto Ceramic Vanity I like for its warmth and some resemblance to the concept, minus the heaviness. The vessel sink in ceramic looks good against 2-draw oak cabinet below. I actually find the 3-draw side cabinet pretty neat; the mirrors I learn come equipped with attached light and shelf. Yes, the faucet, p-trap and drain stop are all there. Looks like the complete thing, its neat and ideal for slightly bigger spaces.

Filippo 2 Sinks Glass Vanity

For roomier bath spaces and hotels, I suggest the Filippo 2 Sink Glass Vanity. I like the use of oak and glass. It’s a neat design—the ‘pluses’—great design and modern features minus the bulkiness most vanities uninviting end in. The vanity has a set of oak shelves that look great, the two mirrors come with lighting, and the sinks with the faucets, drain stop and p-traps. All is well with vanities….

Bathroom sinks at stake

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

The idea of bathroom sinks as an essential in the list of bathroom accessories may not be everybody’s cup of tea. How many times have you seen a perfect bathroom with the sink playing central in shaping the aesthetics? I do believe that apart from regular bathroom furniture like vanity and cabinets, details like faucets and sinks and fine mirror and lights can be used to your advantage, depending on the right details for your space.

Bathroom Sink

Recently, I saw some great bathroom sinks in deep vessel shape (actually I was looking around for a friend) and thought it should be a post. The designs are fresh. For space constricted areas, try the unusual Calvin in glass. Glass with its transparency bestows a space with a roomy feel. The size is ideal for slight spaces, and I love green leafy design. There is pop-up drain and the double-layer glass may look petite but is sturdy. If you like this, try the Smeralda (this onez abstract). I don’t know if you feel it too, but I kept thinking of an unusual art piece (or fruit basket) every time I laid my eyes. The branch veins are cool, and the green is a shade soother.

Water splashhhhhhhhhhhhing kids at home? NO? lucky you. We have a bunch of them and I think the Gafna may be the most intelligent (and artistic, depends the way you look) choice for your bathroom. The deep vessel designs are great for kids, but I love the water painted double-glass design. Check it up.
