Reception sofa design

Reception is one area that reflects the soul of your organization. I often enter an office to feel an energy jolt, that feeling of having entered a domain reflecting unique qualities of individual (unique) work system. And reception, definitely is an area for making the first impressions. The positive vibes….its true, smiles. I do think it is a good idea to start well….and that goes with the first impressions et al.

The starting point may be contemporary leather furniture (sofa system), to sink into deeply upholstered cushions or stretch out along simple, minimal lines. OK, I would like to highlight a couple of sofa systems in contemporary compositions to suit moderate to loft spaces. Go ahead, create an impact……

This sofa I saw on Spacify, the Egbert 2-seater has a semi-casual quality that allows comfort and still keeps the office environment intact, the aniline leather(flame resistant) version is better for the impact, but you could opt for the fabric upholstery. I like the clean cubist styling with polished aluminium feet n all. Choice of about 6 colors…..check up….and the Egbert 3-seater is all of it except the three seats.

The Bobo 2-seater is what it looks like—compact. Looks more like a love seat to me, but it does make an impression. You could stack one at home, or have it arranged as a contrast to a sectional sofa. Upholstery—fabric/leather. Claims to conform to California 133 fire code, the leather (if you choose) is flame resistant. Click the technical specifications to see the options to best suit your living/office space. With it I wonder if leather sofa furniture will ever get replaced by………..I donno what…..you tell me

Fancy Post!

Sofa

Fancy hair color….fancy car seats and fancy lens hues…hmmm…. fancy this, fancy that; wonder whether my moods turn fancier too. How about some fancy leather sofas and accent chairs???? Yes, I am inspired. The modern sofa means more than fancy furniture though; it also means comfort and relaxation. I guess aesthetics do matter, but this post is high on it…..check up a couple of designs….for your eyes…

Quite a design—the Velocity (force multiplied by acceleration!) has a new formula. Just keep musing if it is comfy too….but surely a stunner. Love the way the leather covers the base and swivels all the way up…space age stuff…I know you like it too…Fancier would be the Specter swivel. The seat is almost a modified spaceship..:) the hi-back is remarkable, the seat spreads lavishly, say we like the bizarre… its futuristic stuff and makes an impact.

Before I decide to fly out, let me point out another great design…the Baron armchair. love the verticals—contoured styling. Its not leather, its leatherette, so get to wash it too. Nice stuff…eh…

Sofas, not futons

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

i finally got down to write about the new entrance scheming I did for a friend, and the final post boils down to sofas. There has been a great deal of murmur on sleeper sofas as a unit matching up to the living room furniture. I heard futon and the target changed from the scheme details to fabric sofa. I am not so much a fan of futon beds really. You can find something much decent by burning your pockets by not more than double the price, and add to it triple the comfort!!

Brutus Modern Sofa

But if you’re looking for something slim and nice for a narrow room, corner or entrance, i suggest a sleeper sofa or daybed. Your sleeping /sitting needs are the bottom-lines here. Click more, and be good….keep posting those comments, see you tomorrow! The Brutus….muaaaah…love it completely. This fabric sofa is an extension of luxury. The wide arms, and the lavish spread….you can order as an armchair/sofa too…

Crawford Sofa

For more regular not-so-lazy stuff, take a look at the Metro modern in its highly sophisticated avatar. It sure looks living room material, with a class of its own. For a more lavish feel, don’t forget the ottoman(its optional). Ok, for a bit of drama, I highly suggest the Crawford. The Pecan beauty is an eye-catcher, and looks snug to me. It has a priceless combo of the old and contemporary….with or without the ottoman.
